Meet the Artist

Jade Mackenzie is a digital artist whose work is founded in an illustrative, watercolour style.

Inspired by her ever-expanding dream world of fantastical creatures, Jade captures her subjects as she sees them, steeped in myth and lore.

When she’s not wandering this dreamy realm, she finds equal inspiration in all things cute and small, delighting in bringing forth cozy critters adorned in all sorts of splendor.

Based in Beamsville ON, Jade revels in the Niagara Region’s seasonal beauty, from the blossoming spring orchards to the escarpment’s fall colour show. Most days she can be found working away in her studio while listening to music and trying not to drink too much coffee. Jade loves the pace of small-town living, making and consuming baked goods, and most importantly, cuddles with her cat.
